Walking In Beauty

There’s a word in Diné (Navajo) language, “Nizhóní” for beauty.

Nizhóní

Dale & Charlotte Tsosie brought “Nizhóní” to our students and staff for the Masters Bible Translation course here at YWAM Tribal Winds. Dale sang a drum sang which he composed called, “Upon His wings.” I found this song below on-line to give you an idea how beautiful the language is.

The Navajo Way- Prayer and Blessing — Walking in Beauty. “In beauty I walk, with beauty before me I walk, with beauty behind me I walk, with beauty above me I walk, with beauty around me I walk. It has become beauty again. It has become beauty again.

It has become beauty again. It has become beauty again.”

What a BLESSED place our Father has provided for us here to host these nations from around the world! When the Lord told us to have a Training Center here in Flagstaff, Arizona, we had no idea that we would have students & guests from all around the world. Our Father is so very faithful! Please pray for us that we would do more schools and that many will come to learn to love Him and to serve Him!

Pacific Hope Ship- Will in his element- Vanuatu, Fiji & beyond: God has provided a FREE port in Cartagena, Colombia. The current crew will get us there, then mostly leave. They will be there in Cartagena until God provides a new crew, and then they can get started doing hurricane relief for a few weeks, and possibly longer. Pray for God’s continued provision and open doors for the way forward, as well as safe and efficient passage for Will & the crew. Due to the devastating hurricanes in the Caribbean last month, two more YWAM ships (the YWAM Liberty & the Amazing Grace) will re-deploy to partner together with “Pacific Hope” to do hurricane relief over this next year in Dominica, Barbuda, and wherever else God leads us. He is even providing us a free long term staging port to work out of on the island of St. Vincent!
